Anxious excitement (Slice of Life: Day 5)

Anxious excitement. Excitement that you want to make happen sooner. Your body is convinced it is capable of doing this. The rush of booking a plane ticket. The curiosity sitting on a bus to drop you off at your next destination. The thrill looking out the window of the train, loving each view more than the last. Waiting to be reunited with a special someone, trying to guess what the details of his face will look like when he sees you again. It’s the moment after ordering your food, it’s the first tear in a gift’s delicate wrappings. Its the seconds that feel like hours. Its almost as powerful as the moment of fulfillment, the moment your thirst is quenched. And leaves you wanting one more sip.
